Hello!

My name is Roger Björnstedt and I'm 26 years old.

I'm currently working at the Computing Science Department, CSD, Uppsala University. There I work on my Master thesis. The title has not yet been set, but as soon as it will, it will be posted here.
I do my Master thesis together with Jonas Hed and Anders Gustafson. Our supervisor at the university is Ph. D. student Mattias Tenhunnen and as external supervisor we have Ph. D. Fredrik Ygge. The guy with the top responsibility of our work is Prof. Arne Andersson.

I'm about to complete my degree as Master of Science in Computer Science in the summer 2000.

In my spare time I play the trumpet in different bands and orchestras. Right now I'm a proud member of the Soul- and Funkband "illusion", the big band "Glansbandet" in Uppsala. So the music takes a lot of time right now, but that's just fun.

I grew up in southern of Sweden, in a little place called Markaryd. Then I moved to Växjö for a couple of years and now, since one and a half year, I live in Uppsala which is located 80 km north from Stockholm.

The best band all categories, is the "Tower of Power". Visit their site and listen to their music. They are great! I've seen them live at five different occasions and I will see them again when they come to Sweden in february 2000.

I have been a member of the excellent student orchestra "Isterbandet" at Växjö University. In my opinion they are (at least, they where until I left ;-) ) the best student orchestra in Sweden.

I was also a member of a theater-orchestra at the "Södermanlands-Nerikes nationsspex" the autumn 1999. That was fun. I have never played classical music before but there I got the chance. It is great to sit in a symphonic orchestra.
