Masking a low-frequency sinewave

-The first tone you'll hear is a 100 Hz signal. you should set your speakers so that the tone is just audible. Otherwise the noise signal will be too loud, and the listener will loose nerves!!!

-Signal (starting from 60 Hz) is masked with noise. The frequency of the signal is then increased in 10 steps of 10 Hz until 150 Hz.

Listen sound (.wav).

Masking high-frequency sinewaves  -In the end, after ten steps of low frequencies, are five examples of high frequencies masked with same noise and starting from 15 000 Hz, climbing up to 19 000 Hz in five steps of 1 000 Hz

Listen sound (.wav).
