Well, here is some short info about what we are doing at the moment?! What are our plans for the nearest future? About upcoming releases, releases in planing stage, tours & more!!!
So, here we go:
1. 7inch split with SPEEDFREAKS & the Australians own outlow's THE POWDER MONKEYS will be released on BAD ATTITUDE! RECORDS (Fin) on October 2003. The split single will include unreleased tracks;

R.I.P. Tim Hemensley, co-founder, singer, songwriter and bass player of the band tragically died at the age of 31.

2. The band is currently in the studio recording new material for CD split w We Were Wolves (Por). The Sleazey Records (www.sleazeyrecords.com) will be released CD split sometimes in November 2003!

3. Beside those releases we have (& we gonna) recorded songs for tribute albums;

4. Sooner or later!!!The Devil's Shitburner (www.dsbrecords.de) will release 7inch EP with Speedfreaks sometimes this autumn! All four tracks are previously unreleased!

5. The second round of European tour will be on April 2004 and the tour booking is still in progress. The tour will include countries like Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium & UK! So far!!!

6. The new home page (with new logo, live pics, new mp3 songs…) will be running in few weeks or so!

Full throttle nitro boosted rock and roll from Sweden. Ultra heavy speed soaked rock with a little stoner groove poured in for good measure. Kind of
like Lemmy adding some Orange Goblin riffs and Hellacopter choruses into a Motorhead style montage of monster metal mayhem. A pure, hard rock
adrenaline hotshot to that one last good vein you've been saving for something special.

Thank God someone has taken the rock and roll revival thing in the direction of ass kicking, big boot stomping heavy rock metal instead of the limp, lifeless garage band worship that most new rock and roll bands seem fixated with. Speedfreaks deliver the goods. Every song smokes, every member fo the band kills, every note is balls out.

It's the debut album of Swedish quartet. They name themselves Speedfreaks respecting Motorhead, doing hard rock'n'roll. The skinhead vocalist is shouting roughly like Lemmy. Anyway each part is loud, roaring, thrilling, and it might be comfortable with 28 minutes, 8 tracks.

ON THE ROAD…
We did four gigs in a four days & it started great! Our singer had a bad throat infection that just got worse, our drummer managed to damage his knee (yaeh, the good one) and had to do two gigs with his right leg in plaster, from the ankle up, switching to left-foot-handling-the-pedal… …”I love the noise & I love the pain ´cause it makes me feel like a kid again!!!” We had a great time! Played with some great bands and people- got to down a couple of beers & so with the heavy crew Transport League (thanx for a most inspiring night), the rockin´n´-a-rollin´Voodoo From Beyond (you boys know how to rock!), The Leftovers (good lockin´& good clean punk r´n´r!!) & The Robots- kings of roborock & best friends with Baron Samedi! (Great guys & a fuckin´great band!) Gotta mention Dear Mutant, heavy shit & heavy Sluggo! & last but in no way least the band & our driver, roadie & compadre Danne ”the Rock”. Wanna thank & salute the indisputable King of Norrköping, our main man & friend- the one and only Poppe! YOU ROCK MAN!!! Our never ending gratitude & thanx! You made our day! Our (x-)guitarist & webmaster J.Carlsson got canned/sacked/kicked out ´cause of different views on what´s what in the SPEEDFREAKS... ...But the story goes on & we carry on with renewed enthusiasm, revitalized, recharged & fuckin´ ready for more R`n´R!!! & due to the fact that we´re in to R´n´R not computers it has taken us some time figurin´ out how to work them chips & bytes. "So far so good-pure adrenaline under the hood!"

THE NEWS!!!
The promised 7´ split with hellrippin´assboppin´ & cockrockin´ 69-HARD is comin´ out on Beluga music end of august-00. On it there´s a brand new tune from a pre-prod. recording we did at das Boot studio in STHLM a couple of weeks ago. The pre-prod. rec. was to see how & if we could work together with Fred Estby in the studio. & we could & we will! So on the 3rd of august we sod off back to das Boot & start recording our fullength Cd, comin´ out on Outside Society Production later this fall/autumn. Hopefully wen it´s finished we can give a more x-act date of the release, dates of gigs & so forth.
