From January 10:th 2000 was the night trains to northern Sweden (Umeå, Luleå and the Ore Line, the trains to Östersund is still operated by SJ) overtaken by Tågkompaniet. The day trains on the Ore line was also operated by Tågkompaniet. Most of the cars was hired from SJ. They had bought 5 sleeping cars and 5 panorama cars (ex TEE/Rheingold) from a Swiss company. Tågkompaniet also bought some day cars from norway. Since June 14 2003 is Connex responsible instead of Tågkompaniet.

The panorama coach passes over a bridge a few hundred meters east of the railway
station in Narvik.
The five panorama coaches was build for the Rheingold trains between Amsterdam and Basel.
The cars is painted in the green-white livery used by Tågkompaniet. Each car has
pictures of an animal common in the Swedish Alps.
