Suddenly after 3 awesome albums Sabbath comes up with this. It's beginning to sound very uninspired here, and definitely not as heavy as before. It's like most of the songs were written while they were high on cocaine.
It isn't as horrible as it sounds though. Tracks 1-4 I don't care about at all but the rest of the album is quite good. Sure "Supernaut" is a bit spaced out too but it's got a great riff so I won't complain. That goes for "Snowblind" too, it's way heavier than the first songs. Though "Laguna sunrise" is a very boring acoustic instrumental which I never cared the least about.
But both "Cornucopia" and "Under the sun" are among Sabbath's heaviest compositions, and "St. Vitus dance" isn't a really bad track either so I'm not that disappointed.
It's just that you expect so much more than this from Sabbath.
