Another full pointer from Jethro Tull, this one is actually supposed to be just one track in about 40 minutes, but because of the equipment back in those days (LP) they had to break it into 2 pieces and on the remaster version of the cd it's 2 tracks plus, they've added a short (about 11-12 minutes) live version of the song, and also an interview with the guys in the band. Both bonus tracks are pointless if you ask me though.
So the important thing here is the 40 minutes plus song "Thick as a brick" which is one of the best creations I've ever heard. It's got lots, lots of great riffs, guitar solos, flute solos you name it. And to have a bit of structure on it, some riffs return from time to time. This album is if possible even more progressive than "Aqualung", and it also feels tighter. In a few words get this now.
