    Rating:
It's the third "solo" album in King Diamond's still unfinished career, and he's already reached perfection. Same style as before, only better. Concerning the line-up on the album, King dropped Hansen and Denner (the last remains from Mercyful Fate besides himself) and imported another swede named Pete Blakk (hmm where are all the SWEDISH names guys?!) and an american by the name of Hal Patino. So I guess you can't call it a 'danish' metal band anymore, with the only danish member being King.

Just like the previous one, this album is one single concept lyrically. It's a really sick story which is said to have taken place during King's childhood. (note: it's a totally MADE UP story, it's not really based on something that King experienced)
His grandma comes home from an asylum (on which she was put since talking about invisible spirits, "Them") to live with her daughter (King's mother) and grandchildren (King and his sister Missy) once again. However, she still has contact with "Them", she even gets King into the whole thing with some kinda do-as-I-say spell. To see these "spirits" they need to drink tea made out of the blood of King's mother (hence the song title "Tea"). "Bye, bye Missy" relates to that "They" don't like Missy cause she's being so troublesome, so they kill her. Later on King breaks free from the evil spell put on him and he kills his grandma by biting her throat open. Although he ends up at the same asylum as his grandma, the whole thing ends with King coming out of there 9 years later I think it was, and 9 more years later he returns to his home in the house "Amon" where his grandma is waiting for him (?!).
I guess this makes no sense to you whatsoever, it didn't to me either - but wait til you hear "Conspiracy".. an album which will not only stimulate your music listening needs, it will knock you senseless.
