Swedish Opeth follows up "Orchid" with one of the most splendid metal records ever created. Just as "Orchid" this is melodic, progressive metal with that little touch of death metal (the vocals).
Expect billions of awesome riffs & solos in each song, all the songs are pretty long, the shortest is like 10 minutes and the longest about 20 minutes... but I think that explains why there's only 5 tracks on a full-length cd.
Like before the vocals are of the growling kind, but Mikael Åkerfeldt is such a great vocalist, that he allows himself to do clean parts also.
Very few are the albums that beats this one, I know at least one but that is Opeth's latest one so.. well anyway buy this and love it.
