Ecstasy is at maximum right now. (no not the drug you moron.) Wanna know why? Because Opeth has just released a new album. It is called "Blackwater park" and it's.. well it's Opeth we're talkin here, so expect nothing but the best. Fuckin wonderful leads, brilliant solos, as usual Åkerfeldt is the king of death metal growling as well as nice and clean singing, and the riffs are like out of this world. (The credit goes to Åkerfeldt though since he writes all the material.)
A nice surprise is the guest singing from Steven Wilson, vocalist/guitarist of Porcupine Tree. What more can I say, excellent album on all points, go pick it up right away. A definite album of the year, since this is gonna be hard to beat for other bands.
