Debut album from german metal band Blind Guardian, this is typical 80's thrash metal though there aren't many surprising riffs or anything else that shocks. You've heard it a couple of thousands of times before it's booooooooooooooring. The production isn't good at all I must add, it sounds like an album from your average garage band with no budget.
But ok perhaps I should say something positive too. It's far from the worst album I've heard, actually it's not bad at all it's just dull and boring. Hansi (the singer/bassist) is actually doing a decent job with his raw voice, and some of the solos are quite good. Average rating.
