Bohus BioTech AB is a biotechnology company founded in 1992. We specialize in the production of sodium hyaluronate of high molecular weight. The trade name of our main product is
MicroviscTM. This viscoelastic solution is
used in eye surgery and is distributed world wide. The company is accredited
by the Swedish National Board of Social Welfare and certified by the German certification body, mdc,
medical device certification.
The company's facilities are located in Strömstad at the west coast of Sweden and
comprise production assemblies, research and development laboratory, control laboratory and administration
office.
Our business idea is to develop and manufacture new drugs and
medical device applications based on hyaluronic acid, and distribute these through
local distributors to users all over the world.
