Fast, fun, fantastic or famous Sevens
If you know of any fast, fun, fantastic or famous Sevens that should be on this page, please let me know.

Picture The First

The first-ever Seven driven by Lotus racer driver Edward Lewis. This first Seven had a de Dion rear end and disc brakes from a Lotus Eleven. Read more about it in "The birth of the Lotus Seven".

Picture The JPE

The JPE or Jonathan Palmer Evolution is probably the fastest "standard" Seven yet. It produces a massive 250 bhp which gives the car an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (60 mph) in under 3.5 secs, and a top speed of over 240 km/h (150 mph). It also is faster than a Ferarri F40 in 0-100-0 mph, in just 12.6 secs.

Picture The Prisoner

The Prisoner is a cult TV series, first aired in the late 1960s. A Lotus Seven Series II (registration plate KAR 120C) was used in the series. Some of the series was filmed at Portmeirion in North Wales.

Picture The Oldie
One of my absolute favourites, Peter Mayne and his wonderful Lotus VII series I.

Picture The Cow

Jarod Nash's friesian Seven. Why??? Don't know, but I like it.
