Fantasy Literature

I have always enjoyed reading, and Fantasy has always been very close to my heart. My parents started to read Lord of the Rings for me when I was little - and boy, am I glad they did! :-)

When you talk about Fantasy, it is inevitable to talk about Tolkien. The creator of Middle-earth, and the greatest Fantasy author ever. I hope to put up a Tolkien-oriented page of my own someday, but that still lies in the unknown future.

Another of my favorite Fantasy Authors is David Eddings, author of the well-known series The Belgariad, The Malloreon, The Elenium and The Tamuli. Personally I like Belgariad and Malloreon the best. In my opinion, Eddings didn't do much new work on the two other series, he used the same characters and people and simply re-named them. Go check out my Eddings page, to find comments about his works.

Although not books by definition, the ElfQuest graphic series is one of the things I have come to appreciate during the last couple of years. The marvelous world of Two Moons have started to fascinate me. I have a character in this world, the elf Skyfire, and he would be very happy to welcome you to his home - the Wanderer's Den, where you can learn of his life and adventures.

So, being a Fantasy freak, I've made a list with gradings and comments on the books I've read. Please send me hints of other books that you recommend, or just give me comments on my opinions of the books, if you agree or disagree. You find the reviews here.
