Snoop Doggy Dogg first came on firstout
on tha scene back in the early-90 with
his first rap group "213" The group
included other members such as: Warren G
and Nate Dogg. Snoop came with dre and
warren g outta Long Beach, and in 91, met
up with Dre (then of the legendary group
NWA). In 91, Snoop appeared with Dre on
tha Deep Cover soundtrack. Following the
success of that, Dre put out "The Chronic"
solo album which featured Snoop, the album
went platinum several times.
Snoop then released his first solo album,
the Doggystyle, it also went platinum
several times.
Next up for snoop was the "Murder Was
the Case" soundtrack, which he and
several other Death Row artists, such
as Tupac were featured.
Next up for Snoop was "the Doggfather"
who also went platinum several times.
In 94, Snoop was charged with the
murder of Phillip Woldermarium.
Snoop and his bodyguard were both
acquited on all charges of 1st Degree
Murder and Manslaughter.
In 95, Tha Dogg Pound released there
album "Dogg Food" in which Snoop was
featured. In 96, Snoop appeared on
Tupac's "All Eyez on Me" double album.
Back in his younger days, it was
rumored that Snoop was in a gang
(which he will now admit), most people
believe he was in Long Beach Insane,
a crip set in Long Beach.
In 96, Snoop established "Doggystyle
Records".
In his production company, he will
include up and coming artists from
Long Beach.
