Postponed match brings another three points,
when BK Skjutet win well-deserved with 3-0. Although not as entertaining as other matches played this Spring, it is now proven that morals and will-power takes you quite some distance. Early on a gap is formed between the defenders and the midfield, leading to less options when passing the ball. TQ take advantage of this initially and handle the ball, yet still unable to come up with the decisive pass forward. Gradually Skjutet take more command and get into it, and after a few chances Johan Damgaard finds himself on the right-wing chasing the loose ball. He runs into the box clashing with the keeper with the ball bouncing free. Johan is first on his feet and pputs it away for the lead. Again the more aggressive Skjutet take advantage of their experience and weight. 58 seconds later Patrik Spång gets the ball in the middle from a run again down the right. With a delightful curl he puts in the right corner around the keeper and extends the lead just before halftime.
Early on in the second half Nicklas Gulin comes up with a brilliant save, when Skjutet can't clear the ball. From close range TQ fire a shot and everyone is certain it will go in. But Nicklas, having only let in one goal in the green-white jersey so far, quickly throws himself to the right and gets a hand on it to make it go over the crossbar. Superb save! After this a couple of bookings are given to Magnus Nordström and Fredrik Skager, the second one for a gruelling charge on the TQ keeper, very much like the one when Skjutet scored their first goal. Only after this some irritation arouses, and the referee needs to cool things down with some yellow cards. But Skager gets payback minutes later. On a counter-attack he leaves his markers behind and makes it 3-0. The match is over shortly thereafter and three new points are gained.
Elisedal seem to have lost some pace at the top. Can Skjutet take all points facing the teams on the lower half the next few weeks? /JP
