A magnificent colourful performance,

...takes Skjutet even closer to the top. Even with external pressures built up beyond imagination, they stand firm. Not only was today's match filmed on video by Leif Spång, but a prize for man of the match was also established. The newly acclaimed sponsor of Gay Pride Parade, Kahls Kaffe, will give 1 kg of prime coffee to one player from now on. Grand it is. 20 degrees, sunshine and a slight breeze made conditions close to perfect.

The key to success when playing Elisedal, is to keep the ball on the ground with a quick passing game, that much was known. Elisedal is an international team, with most players being British. This lead to an unusual amount of cursing this day, but luckily the spectators (about 35 in all) didn't mind. Nor did the referee. A few minutes into the match he also said, that if he was to go by the book when it comes to swearwords on the pitch, Elisedal would be out of players within 5 minutes. They are also a quite short team in general, and lightweight. This can not be said about BK Skjutet these days. The green-white team nowadays play a tough and sometimes fierce football, ironically thus beating the British in their own style of football. BK Skjutet is now a team consisting of players both heavy and tall, yet ductile and swift.

After the whistle play is a bit fumbling, but intentions of better things are visible. Early on Patrik Spång just misses the net with a shot from the right after a rush from his midfield position. A short time thereafter Anders Grehn gets in trouble when he is pushed over the sideline when chasing down a loose ball. Instead of falling into the advertisment boards, he crashes into a bicycle, parked next to the pitch. Result: Cracked corium on the right underarm. Kristian Hansson fills in while Grehn is being taken care of. Oskar Olsson then has good header on a perfect corner by Patrik Larsson from the right, but the keeper pushes the ball over the crossbar. But all good things come to those who wait. 35 minutes in, Oskar Olsson makes a cross over to Bo Aztor, who rushes down and neatly passes it into the box where Magnus Nordström delicatly puts it in the net, off the right post. That was his first goal in the green -white jersey, in just his second appearance. After this goal things improve for BK Skjutet, and open spaces are found more easily. 5 minutes from time Johan Sonander finds Jesper Palmqvist to the left, that just needs to rush some 20 yards and find Bo Aztor at the first post. Aztor manages in high speed to flick the ball off the post and past the keeper for 2-0. A well-deserved goal, and Bo Aztor's fourth this year. He has now a goal-average of 0.8, the highest in BK Skjutet. But it is far from over. Elisedal has shown great morals in earlier matches, so 2-0 is no safe lead.

In the second half play improves even more, and chances come as well. Patrik Spång again has his header come very close, but will have to wait at least until next match for it to go in. Elisedals defenders were slower than expected, and this made it possible for Jesper Palmqvist to leave his marker behind and fire home 3-0 on a ball through. From this moment on, BK Skjutet never let go. Patrik Larsson adds another to make it 4-0 after brilliant passing on the left wing. A minute from full time Elisedal gets the consolation goal off a free kick just outside the penalty area. Beautifully taken, but it is far too late.

Two straight wins through convincing play, and the team is on a roll. Already talks are on about division 6, and with this type of play, it just might happen. Jesper Palmqvist was named man of the match and proudly received the coffee in the dressing room. Next match is Thursday, away to RIK. Should mean no worries for this team?

Later this night most of the team gathered and enjoyed the videoshoot of the match at Leman's. Much laughter came to the situations everyone had forgotten earlier.
